Maxi "Snow Witch" heavy-duty steel snow pusher

Many are familiar with the plastic driveway and path clearing snow pushers available in hardware stores through the north. We were interested to see these sturdy galvanized steel versions available from SHW. They were awarded "5 hammers" by the German DIY magazine Selbst!

Intended for use as a plow more than a shovel, if you can keep up with the snowfall it makes for much less back strain. It works well on hard, flat surfaces of concrete, blacktop, or graded packed gravel, but is not as helpful on lawns or uneven stone pathways.

The scoop measures approximately 24 inches wide. It is an impressively-built tool, weighing nearly 30 pounds, so you can trust it will be ready for many winters to come.
