Peasant Hoe 2.5 lbs with Beech handle

A traditional peasant hoe with a 7" edge, this hoe weighs just over 2.5 pounds. Includes a 53-inch beech handle.

This hoe style has many names including the peasant hoe, it's the basic hand gardening tool for just about every task on the farm from primary tilling and cultivating to weeding and harvesting. I even use it for cutting garden edge grasses in the morning when the edge is still nice and sharp.

Forged steel head is made in India. Beech handle made in Italy.
