    Good quality but a few issues

    When the billhook arrived I noticed that the blade had not been secured to the handle, so I fabricated two wedges and secured the blade into the handle.

    I purchased the tool to cut small vines and briars that are coming up in my shrubbery. I’m 78, so my “crawling around under bushes” days are pretty much over. The hook in the tool allows the fairly limber vines to slip out before the blade can bite the vine. I’m having bee-shaped notch cut in the hook so hopefully I’ll be able to use the tool.
