Ashfield Tools Rooter (Dandelion Weeder)

Our Rooter is a hand forged garden tool with a long cutting fork designed to penetrate soil and cut off tap root weeds, like dandelions, well below the surface The edges of the notched out "V" at the end are sharpened to aid the cutting process. The offset handle provides leverage to pry, lift, and pop out weeds. It can assist a small shovel or trowel in transplanting by cutting through roots to free a plant and pry and lift it out.

The Rooter can be used to cut asparagus and rhubarb.

The overall length of the Rooter is approximately 13". The steel end is approximately 8" and the handle is 5".
