This brush hook (also a brush axe, ditch bank blade, or Kultursichel in German) features a 40cm / 16-inch head with a 90cm / 36-inch ash handle. This head weighs 2lbs. 

Somewhere between a machete, a billhook and an axe, It is an excellent tool for clearing small tress and brush, and can be used with one or two hands depending on the task. The hook aids in cutting small stems and also helps to pull material out of the way.
