These professional curved-shape anvil-type loppers will hold the branch securely while eliminating kickback after the cut for less operator fatigue. The razor-sharp steel blade ensures a clean cut. The movement is assisted by a lever mechanism with an S-shaped tie rod to give a greater cutting ratio.
The handles are made of oval shaped extruded aluminum with anodized surface capable of supporting extreme tension. The blade and tie-rod (without bush), made of a high percentage carbon steel, are hot-forged. The anvil has a lifetime guarantee against breakage. The anodized surface treatment increases resistance over time.
Important note: The handles are marked for the "fixed" and "movable" handles. What this means is that when operating it's important to only move the "OK" (movable) handle to ensure the branch does not bind or twist the tie-rod mechanism. Premise: The movement assisted by the leverage with “straight” or “S” tie rod, allows you to cut branches with less effort, compared to conventional loppers. The counter blade is operated by this tie rod hinged on 3 points and in the case of the “S” also a sliding bushing. Thus, our loppers must be used only by applying the cutting force on the tie rod, whatever the direction of use.
